1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Approved Transport Group, LLC ("Approved Auto Transport," "we," "us," or "our"), a licensed transportation broker registered with the FMCSA under USDOT# 9677802 and MC# 45556873. By requesting a quote or booking transport with us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Broker Role

Approved Auto Transport operates as a property broker arranging for the transportation of motor vehicles by FMCSA-authorized motor carriers. We do not own or operate the trucks that perform the physical transport. The motor carrier assigned to your shipment is solely responsible for the safe handling and delivery of your vehicle while in their possession.

3. Quotes & Booking

All quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and current market conditions. Final pricing is confirmed when a carrier is assigned. No deposit is required to request a quote. Cancellation fees may apply after a carrier has been assigned — see our full Cancellation and Refund Policy for details. See 5. The Approved Price Promise for what happens if your assigned carrier becomes unavailable after you've approved a price.

Your quote is based on the vehicle, pickup and delivery locations, and shipment details you provide when you request it. If any of these details change or turn out to be inaccurate, your price will be recalculated to reflect your actual shipment — for example, a change in the vehicle's make, model, size, or class (including if a vehicle described as operable is inoperable at pickup); a change in pickup or delivery location; or upgrading your transport type. We'll tell you about any such change and the reason for it before your new price is finalized.

4. Payment

All payments are processed securely by credit or debit card before your vehicle is dispatched to a carrier. There is no Cash on Delivery option. No payment is exchanged with the driver at pickup or delivery. Your broker fee and carrier cost are quoted separately — you always see exactly where your money goes before anything is charged. No deposit is required until a licensed, insured carrier is assigned and confirmed for your shipment. See our full Payment Terms page for complete details.

5. The Approved Price Promise

Once a motor carrier has been assigned and confirmed for your shipment, and you have approved the final price in writing, that price is locked with that carrier. If the assigned carrier cancels or becomes unavailable and a replacement carrier's cost exceeds your locked price, Approved Transport Group, LLC will cover the difference as follows, in order: first, by reducing our broker fee, including to $0 if necessary; second, by absorbing our own service and card-processing costs; and third, by covering up to $100 beyond that from our own funds. If the shortfall exceeds the total of the above, we will contact you before any change is made to your price, and you may choose to wait for a different carrier, approve a documented price adjustment, or cancel for a full refund of amounts paid to us.

This promise applies only to your locked, approved price and does not apply to quotes or estimates provided before a carrier is assigned. It is void if you book or actively solicit bids for the same shipment through another broker while Approved Transport Group, LLC is working to secure your carrier. It is also void if the vehicle's condition, modifications, dimensions, or other details were not accurately disclosed when you requested your quote or approved your price — for example, an undisclosed lift kit, oversized tires, aftermarket modifications, or a vehicle that is inoperable when described as operable. A legitimate change to your shipment — such as a different pickup or delivery location, or an upgraded transport type — does not void this promise; see Quotes & Booking for how your price is recalculated in that case, after which this promise applies to your new price once a carrier is confirmed and you approve it.

6. Vehicle Condition & Inspection

A Bill of Lading and condition report are completed by the carrier at pickup and again at delivery. You or your designated agent must be present at both locations to inspect the vehicle and sign these documents. Damage claims must be noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery.

7. Insurance

All carriers in our network maintain active cargo and liability insurance as required by federal regulation. Coverage details are available upon request prior to dispatch.

8. Delivery Windows

Pickup and delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. Weather, traffic, mechanical issues, and federal hours-of-service rules may affect transit times. We will keep you updated on any material delays.

9. Limitation of Liability

Approved Transport Group, LLC operates solely as a licensed property broker and does not take possession, custody, or control of any vehicle at any time. Physical transport is performed exclusively by independent FMCSA-authorized motor carriers.

Cargo Liability: Cargo liability for loss or damage rests with the assigned motor carrier under the terms of their Bill of Lading and applicable federal law. Customers must inspect their vehicle at delivery and note any damage on the Bill of Lading before signing. Failure to document damage at delivery significantly limits available recourse against the carrier.

Broker Liability: Approved Transport Group, LLC exercises reasonable care in the selection of carriers, including verification of operating authority, insurance, and safety performance data prior to dispatch. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability as broker is limited to the broker fee paid for the shipment in question. We do not assume the cargo liability of the motor carrier.

Carrier Selection Standard: We apply a documented carrier vetting standard prior to every dispatch. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable federal or state law.

10. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland and applicable federal transportation regulations. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Queen Anne's County, Maryland, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
